“Nature finds a way” is the
meaning behind my artwork. No matter if its flying whales with trees growing
out of their heads or making dinosaurs able to breed even though their all
female (Jurassic park reference). I feel
like my surrealist art represents this meaning because living things will
continue to evolve and find ways to improve, one day whales are swimming along
in the ocean, the next their flying in the air (Which to me makes a lot of
sense due to the fact that they breathe oxygen). Today trees grow in the earth,
tomorrow they grow on living creatures (that one makes a lot less sense).
I took the photos of the
background and the trees, I got the whales from the Internet. I drew a few
sketches and figured out what I wanted to do. Then I went on Photoshop and put
it all together. I added the shadows by copying the whales, squishing them and
changing the colour and opacity.
I
learned how to create shadows in Photoshop and how to use it more efficiently. I
am very satisfied with my work its probably the best I could have made it. Im very glad that it turned out the way it did I was afraid that I might have to do something
